I bet the tank has a hole in it some place. You can get it pressure tested to see were.
That tank will be 60 gal at most, they never had a bigger one in a V unless someone replaced with a custom one, but I would say no one ever did in this one.

When I got my boat the tank did not work, after draining and adding water with degreaser I rinsed it well and used a shop vac to suck out rest of water and anything else. let dry for a day in the sun, refilled and been fine till this day!
