It took Pelosi and Reid to push it through. There is blame to go around. It barely got the votes after sweetening the deals with pork. At the time it was passed the surveys of the people revealed the people said NO. Then they introduce the tripe at 2:00 in the morning and voted it through without even reading it.
Obama was doing his part to rail it through. Meeting with Insurance Industry Giants behind closed doors like the meetings he had with the banks not to mention the strongarm tactics with opposing members in his own party, to sway the vote. It was definitely party politics. Transparancy? I think not.
At least they finally hung the "T" word to what it really is. Another TAX.. Doesn't effect Congress, Doesn't have much effect on the mega rich, nor the poor, all of which have Gold Plan Health Insurance already. Working class will fund it. NO PROBLEM...
