			The "78 Cuddy was rated for 240 horse, the Fisherman was rated for a 200 horse. Don't ask me why. Checking/inspecting the transom is highly suggested. Looking for decayed wood, rot, etc. Building up for a 25" should be considered a transom rebuild unless the existing stuff is in almost perfect condition. Using a jack plate for a 25" in a 20" situation should be considered only if the existing transom is almost perfect given the extra torque applied.
