Hey Willy, while you're searching country singers, I'll have to give you my input. back when my wife an I were first married, she drug me to a Loretta Lynn concert. I wasn't very thrilled about going, but wife is a huge fan(she's got the movie Coal Minors Daughter memorized, not just the song). I'd have to say it was one of the best concerts I've ever been to. Even at her age, that women has more power in her voice than most singers half her age. She's still touring, we've seen her four times, all in smaller venues. IF you ever get the chance to see her in person, I highly recommend it. I searched U-Tube for some of her later music, but its just not the same, it just doesn't do her justice.
