Rub Rail Replacement

I'm looking to replace the rub rail on my V20. I have two questions,
1. is there a particular company anyone recommends? I've been looking around and there seems to be a couple different materials, I'm leaning towards the rigid vinyl, any thoughts?
2. The existing rail got banged up by the PO and the holes for the screws got elongated by about 3/4". I know I can just offset the new screws and drill new holes but how should I repair the old holes, Just fill with sealant?
