Still need help - 94' Evinrude 175HP

I made a quick video, (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGc3E...=youtube_gdata) which I hope can present my question better than I have in previous posts. My problem is that I can't lift the powerhead off the midsection. Skools had previously said "the powerhead adapter is coming off with the powerhead and it looks to be bad". Do I just need to use excessive force and pry this rubber adapter off the powerhead?
