As I said in a previous post on this same subject, if you listen to KD Lang's cover of "Crying" that she did as a tribute to Roy at the Songwriters Hall of Fame in May 1989, you can hear in her voice the raw emotion that this song carries. Roy was the best, I've always loved his songs and his style, but I have to give props where they are due, and KD's cover is certainly well worth listening to.
