Cool

Megan, I cannot help you with any of the things you're trying to do, other than to tell you that there's a ton of guys here that can. But I can tell you three things that, if you listen to them, will help you a lot.

First, take pictures and post them here so the people that are in the know about these things can see what you're trying to do and offer help to you. (It's true.. a pic is worth a thousand words.) If you're not sure about how to post the pics just ask.. it's really very simple.

Second, set your goals for the project. Don't try to do 10 different things at the same time. Concentrate on one item, and keep at that item until it's complete. Otherwise the job will overwhelm you.

Third. Step back from the job every few days... give your mind and body a chance to rest and rethink how a particular phase of the job is going..then go watch a movie or whatever.

Now, as I recall from my 73, (assuming it's a cuddy cabin type boat you have) you are correct, it's a 3 piece unit. The top cap, the deck, and the hull. The boat is too early a year to have foam under the deck, so no worries there. There should not be any thin plywood anywhere unless someone added it. Your sides don't have rod boxes so no worries there either. That's about it for now, post pics asap so we can see what you've
gotten into.

If God didn't have a purpose for us we wouldn't be here, so
Live simply, Love generously, Care deeply, Speak kindly.
(Leave the rest to God)

Silence, in the face of evil, is itself evil. Not to speak is to speak, not to act is to act. God will not hold us guiltless.
