Default Pleasure and pain on the V this weekend!

Well Sat I worked on the V all day...95* and 1000% humidity(seven inches of rain fell on Friday!!)

First was replacing the fuel tank vent hose and fill hose. Luckily The front teak hatch comes right out without removing the console! Unlucky that between the access in the gunnel and access under that hatch, the fill hose was foamed in place and was a clear B-word to remove and replace. That job took most of the morning, but got it done and everything buttoned up and sealed.

Second was lowering the engine one notch, another couple hours of sweating, but got that done with no issues...

Third, I installed a swim platform/ladder. That also went with no hiccups, and good looking, dry wood(wheeeew!)

By 5:30 that eve I was done....so thirsty and tired I couldnt even finish up with some cold beer

Sunday was mostly pleasure, got out on the water all day BUT lost 3 mph by lowering the motor and still couldnt trim any more without cavitating soooooo when I got in yesterday eve, out came the engine hoist and I raised her back up a notch

All in all a pretty good Wellcraft weekend
