Gulf Snapper Fishing

Went out today with a friend of a friend on his Hydra-Sports 220 Bay for a half of day of fishing. Had the boat in the water by 5 and caught live bait and was fishing at 6:45. Hit some natural bottom about 9 miles out then run 7 more miles out. Had 5 snapper by 9:00. Got tangled in the prop while storms were circling us. Thankfully they cleared out while we cut the line free. Run out of bait and headed back in. By noon i was back home.

Also, caught my largest snapper for the year 24."
