Thanks for the idea Cam, good link, I wanna do this the right way, have 5 days before my tank is back. I spoke to the welder today and not sure if I should go with a bigger tank. He measured the old one and calculated 43 gallons, however in the hull I have so much more room for a bigger tank. If I went bigger is that gonna effect how the boat gets into plane? Is it only 43 gallons for a specific reason? I'd love to use up the room for a bigger tank! The original tank is 48" long, I'd like to add another foot to the new tank, and still leave room for supports.
