Fishing the Chesapeake Bay

I need some advice. I love the lines of the Wellcraft V20. I want to know everyones personal expiereances fishing a v20 on the chesapeake bay. Most of my fishing will be at the hampton roads bridge tunnel and chesapeake bay bridge tunnel. Do I need a larger boat? What are your thoughts? Thanks everyone?
