Welcome to the site. I agree with you, it sure enough looks like a Wellcraft hull. Maybe a dual console that someone got "creative" with? The boxes over the consoles look out of place... additions that do not belong. The easiest way to find out what/who made it is to look at the H.I.N. of the boat. It will (usually) tell you the manufacturer and the year it was made.
