Default Grease Monkey

Since Blue Runner is Blue Runnin' again I performed some general maintenance on the old girl and her chariot yesterday. Changed the oil in the lower unit and repacked the bearings in the trailer yesterday evening. Quite a job considering I started around 6:30 pm and needed to get completely done before dark, but I managed. Hardest part was using the 4-way lug wrench to remove the wheels. It was extremely humid yesterday evening and the fact that many of the lug nuts fought me tooth and nail the whole length of the stud bolts didn't help, despite being lubed. The did go back on smoother than they came off though. I sure wish I had a pneumatic impact wrench. Finished up about 9 pm with grease up to my elbows and shorts completely soaking wet. Anyway, glad to be done with that and not have to worry for a while. I'm ready for some worry free boating/fishing soon. Been too long!

I know, I know.....

.....but did you catch the part about grease up to my elbows and sweating profusely?
