Default Good alternative to Durabak?

It looks like I'm going to have to pull a good sized piece of my floor to repair some soft spots. It has soft spots and crazed areas that I'd like to take care of.

I had Durabak send me a chip and it just sems a little too rough for my liking. It seems like it would be rough on the feet and a dirt magnet. Maybe I'm wrong. If so, hopefully somebody will let me know. So, my question is:

Is Durabak good to repaint a repaired floor and, if not, what is a good substitute?

Thanks for your help.
