Impeller - need some tips.

2004 Yamaha 150 carbed 2 stroke

1) My question is, does the shift linkage slide right out or is there a bolt to remove like on the johnson and suzuki engines?

2) Should be boat be in neutral when I drop the lower unit?

Thanks, I bought a new impeller today. I've changed them on 5 or so engines (Johnnyrudes and 1 old suzuki) but never on a Yamaha.

Anything else I should know or is it just like the others I've done?
