engine now on engine stand .. have a few ?'s..

still did not figure how to hook up a battery or battery charger to tilt this motor..tried loosening the manual release nut and lifting by hand, but no go ..pulled pretty hard, but did not move. hopefully something is not jammed up.

orig owner stated that the switch in the engine cover did not work ?? anyone know what wires and where to apply 12v to to get this motor to tilt up and down on my engine stand?
