That's it....nothing else. People kill me....is that state registration paperwork, mfg paperwork ...WHAT?????? Maybe I pissed him off, I didnt think I came off like I was calling him a liar....oh well.

I knew of no mass produced deep V hulls before the 60's, except maybe a 24 footer that was described in a report of the "America's Cup Race" that it ran like no one had ever seen. It inspired the early Bertram. I thought Bertram ran the Miami to Nassau in one of the first "one off" deep V's in 61'. I'm sure it's an honest mistake but still think 58' is possibly a typo. I also believe 68' is reasonable, they had that low deckline in 1968 and until Wellcraft started mass producing them in 1970 with the same hull but a higher coaming under the windshield that we're more accustomed to.
