Fortunately I can drive 15 minutes and be in an area thtt had virtually no icing and get gas. Folks further north are not so lucky. This will make me rethink storing the boat with an empty tank.

I won't be testing my insurance but a big concern around here is ground water. Sump pumps are the norm. We had a lot of rain with the ice and if your basement floods you normally are not covered. If your roof leaks or a pipe breaks then insurance pays, if the water seeps in then you are on your own.

The linemen from Delmarva were woking in conjunction with a tree service crew from Ohio. It must make for a long ride in those trucks.
