Wood in Hull?

I have a cottage where on of these boats might be ideal, but I don't like the idea of an older hull with wood wrapped in glass - had to bury one of those in the past (a Fiberform).

Yeah it's got wood...nearly all the fiberglass hulls of the day were cored with wood as are many top line boats today, including Pursuit and others...go for it!!...
