When I sold my Grady-White a few years ago, I listed at NADA and gave consideration to the geographical area it was being sold in. Here in the NE boats sometimes sell for more money than they might be worth elsewhere. Why? I don't know, but they do. I had a guy from Virginia call me four times to tell me he was interested in buying the boat, but I was asking too much because they were listed for less in Virginia. I had to politely tell him that I wasn't targeting Virginia when I listed it. And, if they were cheaper there, maybe he should find one there. I guess in the end he decided it was too far to drive.
