Default 2001 175hp Johnson Outboard Motor

I'm thinking of re-powering but can't afford a new motor at this time. Not familiar at all with Johnson and would like your input on this motor:

2001 175HP JOHNSON OUTBOARD MOTOR $3.5K

THIS MOTOR IS A TWO STROKE, CARBURETED , OIL INJECTED (CAN EASILY BE BLOCKED OFF) OUTBOARD WITH A FASTTRAK TRIM AND TILT SYSTEM. IT IS A 60 DEGREE MOTOR KNOWN FOR IT'S SIMPLICITY, EXCELLENT RELIABILITY AND GOOD POWER OUTPUT.

THIS MOTOR CAME INTO THE DEALER AS A RUNNING TRADE IN. IT WAS USED ON THE BACK OF A KENNER CRAFT AND THE HOUR METER READ A SUPER LOW 197 HRS.

MECHANICALLY YOU COULDN'T ASK FOR MORE. COMPRESSION WAS 100-105 PER CYL. MOTOR STARTS ON THE TURN OF A KEY, IDLES CRISP AND QUIET, PUMPS PLENTY OF WATER AND WHEN YOU HIT THAT THROTTLE THE SOUND IS IMPRESSIVE. THIS MOTOR NEEDS NOTHING BUT A BOAT TO HANG ON.

COSMETICALLY IT IS IN GREAT SHAPE. DECALS AND PAINT ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. NO RUST OR CORROSION AT ALL.
