This is what I ended up modifying and making for the canoe.
 Front tie location with a 1 1/4" reciever.  Rear swivel mount and tie location.  And the rooftop mount and tie location  The mount and tie locations were finished off with trailer "Glide Slicks" to not rattle and wear so much on the canoe. Yes it'll work for the ka-yuck in a pinch. One day when I actually use it I'll post pictures of the canoe on it.
