No Hammer, you're right...there's a plate there, but even if transom is bad and ya gotta get it fixed, this'll be worth it...somebody at least oughtta check this out ;) ...of course that's assumin' motor is tight, etc...this one looked good to me...
...I can tell ya about some others that aren't worth mentioning... :o ...
