David ....on subject of trim tabs, makes a major improvement in ride performance in the chop.
I fish mostly all ocean, before I installed the tabs, pounding in 2-3 chop bad. With the trim tabs down in these conditions it keeps the front cutting edge of bow down and I can chug along on slow plane without pounding . Top speed is just for the record, a subject I find fun while nearly all my own boating is from troll to 4500 rpm. Congrats with your rig
