squid have been running for a week now in enough numbers to make a meal, and the pompano have showed up. i went down to mexico beach to see if i could score a couple of pompano sunday afternoon. no luck, but did manage to get 6 nice whiting.
turned them into the tacos and fried the squid as a side dish. muy bueno i used to use zatarains as my go to coating to fry in, but now really like House of Autry. if you can find it, give it a shot
