I spent some time with my father last weekend, way over due. I think he's going to be OK, its never going to be like it was, but I think he will adjust to it. My niece brought him a dog, a 4 year old boxer/pointer mix. She does dog adoptions and once a week she goes by the dog pound and tries to get a dog a foster home. So far, the dog is working out pretty good. I'm staying home this weekend to get caught up on some work, but plan to meet my father at his place in Sneeds Ferry, NC(behind N Topsail Island) next weekend, I've got to get his well boat back up and running, probably mow the grass and work on the dock a bit as well. We've been thankful with the report on Kendall, be we have been saddened to find out our friend Eric is not doing well, he had a stroke earlier this week and they've taken him off all chemo and treatment, it doesn't look to good right now.
