I was specifically waiting for Willy's response. The 6096 guns i was looking at were department of correction trade ins. I've always liked the Smiths, but i remembered some issues back when they were new, long before the Tupperware guns came to power. I've been skeptical of the Sigs mainly from the attitude of the people who endorsed them(Gun counter Know it all's). I found some real good deals on trade in G22's but i didn't want to start up with another caliber. The Smiths caught my eye, but Willy just made my mind up on them, I'll keep looking and see if I can come up with a used 225 now that they aren't the choice of ARFcom/fagpull crowd. I'm trying to find something around the size of my hi power(maybe a little smaller), but in a DA/SA for carry. I can't get used to carrying cocked and locked. I've gotten used to the DAO of my Smith 380 BG.

BTW, I like the Benchmade as well, I told myself I;d never pay that kind of money for a knife, but after finding one in a truck I bought, its become my best friend. I abuse it daily and it never even thinks of failing
