Cabin on a v20

The cabin is 5.5' high, 5.5' long, and the width of the hull. It's made with 3/16 ply sides, 1/4 ply roof, and 3/8 ply back wall. It also has flooring made from 1/2 ply. All other wood is cedar, for weight, or fir, for strength.

With my 90 merc and 15 evinrude, it's bow heavy and this will be a problem as I will have to add weight to the back. The whole cabin was built without damaging or modifying the hull in any way, so that when I get tired of it, I can switch back without any cosmetic destruction visible.

The front windshield will likely be replaced by a one piece unit that is the same height as the side windows. The boat will seat 3 and a large dog, or comfortably 2 and a large dog, this is with propane heat mounted. Currently I have a small woodstove installed, so it's more like a one person boat.

The biggest difficulty I had was that I didn't realize that the port and stbd. sides were of different widths. That is, on side is wider than the other in relation to the walk through windshield. I built the boat assuming that both were the same width, and it kind of messed up the end product.
