I used 3 layers of 1/2" plywood. Then I used woven roving. The last layer being woven roving with a heavy matting on the other side. I faired it out with 3M premium marine filler. It came out real strong. I'm confident that it could hold two of the motors that are on it. I plan on doing the same with the floor this winter. I'm going to try and shoot the Awlgrip non skid on it when its done. The floor now is too slippery when its wet.
