If a 5.0 would fit in your 4.3 hole then I can tell you a 350 ci will fit also, I went from a 305 ci to a 350 ci with no stringer problems or additional parts, I was able to use my intake manifold, flywheel, oil pan, valve, timing gear covers, distributor. garage
