My old 75 doesn't have any carpet at all, never did as far as I can tell. ;D

I was studying the slides yesterday and noticed that there is a drain under each side near the windshield that lets water out of the slide chanel. I also noticed that one of the drains was stopped up with dirt. I cleaned it out, we will see if that helps.
It looks to me that if you keep your V sitting almost level, the drains would keep water from getting in the cabin, but if your boat tilts one way or the other or the bow is much higher than the stern, then the water spills into the cabin instead of going out the drain. This is from the outside. ![]() This is from inside the slide opening, hard to see.

Great pics. and your correct. With the boat tilited up, water sits in the area of that drain.
