Default New Project

:)I finally got started on my V-20. It was given to me and I can't wait for spring to really get going on it. The progress so far has been a light cleanup, it had 2' of leaves in ti when I got her. I pulled the Fuel tank out ( a real pain in the rear and back). I found that thdue to the leaves it held water on the stringers so they rotted out along the sides of the fuel tank. They have been repaired. I am going to put the engine (115 Johnson Fast Strike 2 Stroke) on a bracket 18" set back, from my 74 Renkin on the V-20. So far the transom has been removed with some rot and the new full transom is 30% complete.
I learned that a full transom is a wonderful thing at the CBBT. My 19' Renkin never had a wave wash into the boat, and I have been out there in some pretty scanky stuff.
After the transom is complete the motor will be mounted and the fuel tank replaced after a professional flushing and cleaning. Then it will be on to cosmetics and outfitting. D__M, I've got a lot of work ahead but the Flounders and Togs will have to pay for it.

The outer hull looks great. Looks like a good project hull. Keep us posted with pics to satisfy hammer. He tends to get ugly when no one is putting up pics. ;D

Looking good!!

I hope you don't mind but I am going to clean your post up tomorrow when I get home, so we can see everything better.

I don't know if you no how to resize pic's, but it is easy and makes things easier to look at. 800 X 600 is a nice large size, and 600X 533 is a nice small size.

Any way looks good keep them pic's coming!! ;)
