Conecuh comes from the Muscogee language, and has been interpreted to mean either "land of cane", "polecat's head" or "conch shaped". There's a county named that in south central Alabama.

Morris Tuten in Ridgeland (if he is still alive)processes whole hogs but I don't know what else he does.
Every year we order at least one half of a 200lb hog, split down the backbone with head and hair removed to do a inground pit cooked BBQ. harbour check your pm.

I buy it at any local grocery store here....its a name brand as well. :-/
but yeah bow season starts here on Oct. 15th. Im looking forward to some fresh straps. Gonna go plant and get things in order this weekend. 8)
