Default Re: Should I bring the V?

Thanks for the advice re: spare tire, wheel, hub and bearings. I am going to go to Tractor Supply Co. and pick up the hub and bearings tonight. I should have those wherever I trail the boat, but have just procrastinated. I always carry a spare tire, wheel and jacking equipment.

Thanks also for your offer of help. Let me get the thumbs up from the wife first, and then I just may take you up on your offer.

I know it's been said before, but it's true; you folks here on the V20 Website are the best.

Gas prices through Pa. are averaging 2.60 to 2.75,

maybe 2.80 along the interstates.

Nipper...when's the last time ya put new bearings on it...if it's been a while, ya might wanna consider it...tires good, I assume...

I'm like you; be kickin' myself w/all that water and no boat once you get there...and a charter only gets ya 1 day...towin' gets ya all ya want...I'd tow it, but I'd also take all precautions I could come up with against breakdown... ;) ...DO IT and good luck; keep us posted ;) 8) ...
