Read a fishing book about how they do the Lac's there, very interesting. They slow troll a deep running long line on a heavy weight with a whole bunch of hooks set up off tags on the main line with small bait fish. Some of those Lac's are super deep. Sort of like a commercial long line in miniature running down instead of out

Thanks all, No, I am not a golfer.. yet... I kid that I will take up golf when I am too old for racquet ball.. Apparently they are big on fly fishing over there, I will try it out for an hour or so and if it isn't working out... hand me that spinner! ;D We are B&Bing it, Staying three nights in a 16th century castle, then a farmhouse B&B for the last ttwo nights. Should be a blast, we are not trying to do too much, want to relax as much as possible while still doing some day trips. Hangin around the west/southwes area. And of course, checkng out some pubs! we are within walking distance of those each night. :P I am ready to go as it took 1- 1/2 hrs this morning to go 20 miles up I-95! uughh! Talk to you all after next weekend!

A few years back my inlaws went to England and toured via the canals. The canal boats are long and narrow. They found that the pubs were the best deal as far as meals go. Have fun! Bill Mc ;D

Default Back from Ireland

It was great, weather wet and cool much of the time but expected, scenery great, roads reeealllly narrow and winding, people friendly, food good, drank pints of Guinness, castle awesome, cows and sheep every where. flying home a nightmare... 24 hrs, 2 missed connections, stuck overnight in Atlanta.. we are still tired. I will post pictures as soon as I get them out of the camera.

Oh yea, trolled for salmon for 3 hours in a lake, cold, windy and rainy... they said that made for good fishing.. I think they were lying to this tourist, got one bite smaller than the plug we were trolling. ;D Scenery was beautiful though. Oh well that wasn't the first time that has happened... and it won't be the last.

Ed...
