Couldn't these holes be for drainage. The through hull rods holders drain through the sides i believe? Bill Mc ;D

I think hammer is talking about the gaps between the inner liner that connects the deck to the cap and the outside hull. The rod holders are the rod box inserts. When you pull the rod boxes and look down there is a cavity under the deck. Mine is an 83 an I have no foam anywhere.

Hammer, i guess you do a lot of diving, one thing I did to my rod boxes was put strips of teak connecting the rod holders to each other along he bottom of the rod box. I left a gap between the bottom and the first strip for drainage. This is a great place to throw mask, fins, gloves, bottles of spit(no fog). etc. It keeps a lot of clutter of the deck. I also put 3" pvc tubes in the gap between the hull and the liner you are refering to and use this for a storage tank for a fresh water wash down. The great thing about having a boat is you always have something to do.

There wont be any fishing rods on my boat. Just dive tanks and spear guns. : ) and hopefully a few bugs "Lobster" crawling around on the deck. : )
Damm, wish I had a garage. Rained this morning in Lewes.
