Default RIPPED OFF

Well, I got Ripped Off today. Went out to start the V and to charge the batteries. Noticed the fuel guage was only reading a half a tank instead of a full tank. Looked over at the fuel cap and notided it was renoved >:(
So somebody got me for at least 20 gallaons of fuel.
Whats worse is, now I dont know if I have water in the tank with all the heavy rain we had over teh last few days. To piss me off even more is now knowing that somebody was on my property late at night and not knowing it. >:(
I only hope the person is stupid enough to come back for more gas.

Hammer, as you know I've been hit by the vandals too, so I know how you feel and I’m sorry. Take a deep breath, count to ten and be cool. Yes it's easy for me to say that now, almost two month after they stole from me, but time working on the repairs has allowed me to cool off and do some thinking and I am convinced that we are both very thankful that we did not hear nor see it happening. Like you, we’re trained, able, ready and deadly accurate with a weapon, and we know we could have really hurt someone - most likely killed someone. Brother, I feel your loss and damage, and like in my case, I thank God you did not hear nor see it happening.
Happy and Safe New Years!

Hey, maybe the tank already had water in it and they sucked it out and got stranded somewhere..

Positive waves, man.

Makes me wonder,
all the boats sitting at Steamboat landing
and at times there is no one around.

Oh well, that really sucks, especialy since you can tell which
houses in Lewes are year round residents and
I have seen your cruiser parked at your house already.

Somebody was either really desperate or stupid to not
know they were stealing from a Lewes police officer.

Remember the seventies and the OPEC embargo. Sales of locking gas caps went through the roof!

I had a Honda CB750F that I used to refuel from my girlfriend's father's Plymouth Fury. With the gas cap under the rear plate it was easy to siphon right into the bikes gas tank which I brought right to the car. I broke up with her shortly after he bought a locking gas cap.

Do you know how they got the gas out? If you have a belly tank the route from the fill to the tank is usually to convoluted to get a siphon hose into easily. Did they use the primer ball? If so then they know boats and it would be funny to booby trap some boats with the fuel hose/primer fed into a dummy container of salt water, or used motor oil or something more destructive.
