BR...was that Racor on there when you got the boat?...or did you add?...new element?...did it SEAT properly?...are lines goin' out the "out holes" and in the "in holes"?...jus thinnin' out loud... ::)...

RAP - it was already installed. I believe it is plumbed correctly on the in and out. I'll double check that. I added the new element after the first time the problem showed up. It fixed it for about 2 days, then the problem re-emerged.
Lord knows when I'll be able to get out there to look at it. Sooooooo, sooooo, busy it seems. :'(

I unhooked the hose coming out of the fuel tank and the other end that delivers fuel into the Racor. I then blew the gas out into a milk jug. Once the gas was out I blew the other way and it felt like there was a clump in there that I blew out. Anyhow, I did the same from the outgoing hose to the squeeze ball - blew that out too (but it didn't feel like any clumps).
Took it to the lake and it ran perfectly. Hopefully it'll stay fixed. If not, I'll blow it out again 8) Maybe some compressed air next time? Murphy really laid down his law on me this time :-X

YOU MAY HAVE "CRUD" IN YOU FUEL TANK!!! MORE NOTICABLE WHEN FUEL IS LOW.
