Finally, fresh fish for Mother's Day
What better way to spend Mother's Day, surf fishing with my wife. The pompano bite has been in full swing for about a week, but this is the first chance we've had to go. Was not an epic trip, but enough for a nice dinner.
Got 2 pomp's and a nice whiting. Daughter came over with new grandbaby, so for her first Mother's Day, I was able to giver her some filets.

 I have 5 days to prep for launch. Not enough time and rain is coming for the weekend. Opening day black sea bass is Tuesday.

Go get em skunk, amazing how Tuesday thru Thursday is always beautiful Kings have moved in shore, might try that this weekend Full moon in May is the height of spring fishing in our part of the world
