CNN is currently reporting Bidens previous assurances about Afghanistan Army ability and now this failure.

Biden to speak at 3:45 today.
Seems a totally botched situation , but unless we maintained our troops there forever , is there a solution ?
Would a so called slow withdrawal have mattered ? Bad situation for the Afghan people

The issue isn't why we're leaving Afghanistan, but how badly we're leaving Afghanistan. He can't blame others for his botched withdrawal.

Takes no questions and goes back on vacation.

But hey, it's great to be respected on the world stage again.

So called slow withdrawal or fast the same outcome — Afghan army quit and handed over their country to Taliban .

Fact that they just quit shows why Biden is correct.
Spend billions more for another 5 years of the same - no .
You want your sons or daughters in harms way there - I don’t.
Nothing in that was a fight to protect America anymore .

Well, except to give Al-Qaeda a new foothold as a place to recruit and train terrorists that is. And lets not forget all those allies we just left to die or the women we left to be raped. Like I said before, he's invented time travel. We're back in 1975

He was 100% wrong to pull out so fast, and now we have lost face with half the world. How do you think the people of Taiwan feel right now? Or the people of Hong Kong? Or the people of South Korea? These are all Countries or provinces that are depending on the US to keep them free. Do you think that just maybe they might be a little worried in the face of this disaster? Not to mention Germany, France, England, and a half a dozen other Countries? To quote Obama's former Cabinet members... "Biden's been wrong on foreign policy for 40 years" (And that was back when he was Vice President to Obama.)

Biden insisted last month that there's no way his troop withdrawal from Afghanistan would lead to a Saigon-like situation with Americans emergency evacuated out of the U.S. embassy in Kabul by helicopter.'There's going to be no circumstance where you're going to see people being lifted off the roof of a (sic) embassy of the United States from Afghanistan,' the president said during a press conference on July 8, 2021.Biden insisted during that press conference that the U.S. would not succumb to the Taliban once troops were withdrawn.

Biden is an old line liberal Democrat and as such has a lot of experience in cutting and running out of foreign countries when things get tough. In 1975 Biden was in the Senate when the liberal Democrat Congress refused any further aid to South Vietnam and essentially abandoned that country when it was being invaded by the North Vietnamese Army, resulting in the USA being kicked out of that country where over 58,000 American military members had been killed with hundreds of thousands wounded. Then during the Obama-Biden Administration with Biden in charge of an American withdrawal from Iraq, he recommended pulling all US troops quickly out of that country, an action that is credited with allowing the creation of the terrorist organization known as ISIS. Then when it became time for the Navy SEALS to take on the mission of either capturing or killing Osama bin Laden who was responsible for murdering over three thousand Americans during the 9/11 attacks on New York and DC, Biden was against that mission as too risky. Now here we are in Afghanistan with Biden telling the Taliban that he will pull all US troops out of Afghanistan by a date certain, August 30, 2021, along with authorizing the US military to surreptitiously abandon and pull out of Bagram airbase in the middle of the night without notifying the Afghan Government or military. That gave the Taliban the ***8220;go***8221; signal and it is easy to see why the morale, if they even had any, of the Afghan military was destroyed. Now today Biden announced that he is sending six thousand US troops to the Kabul Airport that is sure to be surrounded by the Taliban within a few days to assist in evacuation all Americans and as many Afghans as possible who helped the USA in the failed effort in Afghanistan over the last twenty years. Who knows what will happen next? One thing is for sure, no ally is going to trust the USA as long as Biden is President.

You hate President trump. I get that. What I don't understand is how you can even partially support that senile old fool that you guys "elected".
