After four months of tring to get this chinese wuhan virus vaccine I finally got my 1st dose appointment for yesterday.

Lliving in Staten Island, Trump terrority it was nearly impossible and believe me I really think politics played alot where it was distributed here in New York.

I wasn't going nuts to get it, I felt if I got it I got it, if not, no big deal, it didn't stop me from going out when I needed to, I just went.

I got a call Wednesday night to call this number for New York - 1.877.829.4629, bingo I was set to go. I went to S.I. Tech H.S, it went smooth as silk, in and out in 25 minutes and 15 of those minutes was the reaction waitning time, after the shot you had to sit for 15 minutes, just in case someone had a real bad reaction to the shot. I had no reaction to the shot at all, I got Moderna. We ALL have President Trump to thank for these vaccines, no matter your politics. Sorry if I made this almost into a political rant.

I hear you. I got my first on 3/2. I just happened to be checking on availability and Walgreens just put up their schedule. I was the first to respond and got the first appointment just 1/2 mile from my house. It was all luck. Living here in Trump territory (Staten Island) definitely made it a lot harder to get. A half hour after I scheduled, I went back to check for a friend and all spots were taken already. Talk about luck.

Welcome to the V club, glad it s loosening up a little for ya ll. The vaccine reminds me of those wild animal whistles they used to sell to mount on the front bumper of your car, only way to know if it works is when nothing happens, and if it doesn’t t work, chances are u weren t going to hit anything anyway.

It did ease my mind after i got my second one

Congrats to all that got their shots or are on the list to get them. 100% agree with Giorgio about thanking President Trump for removing all roadblocks and "Operation Warp Speed" to get the vaccine almost a year to two years sooner than was thought possible. That has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with leadership and humanity.

Congrats to you all for getting your vaccine, I chosen not to get it, the reason is that it came very very fast and what is the long term affect? We don't know. I know people that got this virus and they recovered fine , it's all in gods hands .
