Cracked oil cap

My oil tank mounted to the engine was cracked,not a big deal right? I ordered one from boats . Net no problem but had to wait till September so that was a cancelled item called wagoners marine in keyport now and got one Great put it in and it was defective (really) called Mike at wagoners and said to my wife this isn't going to be good brought the part back and Mike tested it which I also did and said to myself this is where the fun starts but Ike said ,your right there is a problem with this cap, he went back into the store and came out with another one which worked I was surprised that there was no problem Mike was great and to my surprise he had another one in stock so I will bring my boat to him whenever I need a mechanic for my Mercury outboard I don't know if he knows it but he got me as a customer. Thanks Mike and Wagners marine for doing the right thing, oh and the first cap was brand new in its bag (defective) so it does happen . 150 1988 Mercury outboard engine
