windshield seals---Factory

Anyone know where to purchase the windshield rubber U-channel for the windshield??

I have not had much luck locating the right stuff, close but not the same.

Picture included--5/16"w x 9/16"D

Did you try a glass repair shop?

Yup, they giggled. I am working with Taylor glass, they sent me all of theirs and competition that do factory boat windows, waiting for another email back from Taylor.

Looks like company called Aluminum 2000/ bomar, subsidiary of pompanette llc shows the seal, now to see if i can get it from them.

Update: Bomar sent me a seal sample, found the right glass seal, got 30' coming, $3.00 a foot.

how did the seal work out was it correct?

Seal was correct, a mother to get the glass installed with the seal on it, tiiiight fit in the aluminium channel. I ended up doing a stupid and broke the glass doing the install, crash everywhere, ****! Got out of the boat, cracked a mountian dew, lit a smoke and sobbed. Got on ebay and found a whole window asm for under $300 and bought it.
