Want to buy Mercury top mount controls
Seeing if anyone has older merc top mount controls laying around they would like to sell. I need them for a 1981 merc 200

That's called a Binnacle Control. Do a search on eBay, Google or Craigslist.

To my surprise I was actually able to just find the handle, got it ordered this morning
