Fluking off New Jersey - labor day

It's been tough fishing this year, all my tricks, rigs, ideas, locations yielding a couple of keeper fish per trip, this one the same.

Two keepers to 21" now a " good day"......... and no biggies over 5lbs for the year.

I might not get out before the season ends, so will turn attention to other species.
Next thing we know, it's late in the year and Stripers are gone ........time flies.

I remember trolling alone for Stripers 2 years ago, with freezing spray sliding down the windshield as slush and thinking.......I guess it's over.
