Second effort was OMC's racing division. They had some neat stuff. Long since shut down. We used to joke that they called it second effort because it took them more than one try to get it to hold together

Been trying to find a copy of that book, The Performance Boat Bible, ebay, google, etc. Doesn't seem to be any out there, just a mention of it on other forums.

Wow...$30k for the Formula 1 motor, that was a lot of green in 1987...its a lot of green now to me.
