FLIP OVER READ DIRECTIONS
With these distributorless ignitions the coil not only lites up the spark plugs but sends a signal to the fule injector

yeah spare parts I will give that a try this Saturday busy with work right now. and will let you know. I myself was never a big Ford fan but the company bought it for me couple years back no one would say no to a free truck. has ran without a problem for the last 6 years not even a hick up until now.

ecu takes position signal from crank position sensor and cam position sensor. generally the coil driver and injector driver are separate, The ecu fires each independantly

Yes spare parts you are definitely correct on that I replaced both camshaft position sensors for s**** and giggles when It started misfiring. I have a commercial account at Advanced Auto I get them for like $10. I had another friend with this same engine that had his cam phasers fail and that was quite a mission to do. going to check wire harness for shorts before I ordered Used ecm don't really feel like having to pay to reprogram chip Keys.

OK had a little time this afternoon to ohm things out. all injectors 12.2 ohms and all plugs from harness 1.9 M ohms.
with key in on position i have 12 volts at all plugs from harness. SO ECM?

that's are far as i know, I'm not that familiar with the Ford trucks, I was just going thru basic diagnosis that I would use on any engine. I guess the next thing is to check the harness, see if the injector harness terminates to a plug that goes to the main harness. The injectors fire using a ground pulse from the ECM, so check the input wire to each injector thru the harness. See if you can find a wiring diagram on line and do a pin out resistance check from the ECM to teh injector connection. You may need to get a long jumper wire to extend you reach with the Ohm meter. It does sound like a computer taking a crap on you. Try letting the engine run, then tap on the computer with a screw driver handle and see if it changes the way the engine runs, if it does, that's a sure sign the ECM is bad
