Default 4hp?

do you guys think a little 4 hp outboard will move the v20?

not talking anything serious just for a slow troll 2-3 mph, thoughts?

Depends on where you are fishing. In the ocean with a strong current, I think you would be disappointed. The size that most here prefer is the 9.9 hp.

See my answer to your other post on the same subject, but no, on any of the a Great Lakes, with the winds that kick up, I don't think it will be enough. I used to fish Ontario for Salmon in a 21 footer and our 9.9 could barely move us sometimes.

i went ahead and bought it. i figured why not for 150 bucks. it was in good shape and started right and ran strong. i will post the results if she moves it and how well here in a few months when its fishin time
