Look through this thread Stink posted about the doors, might give you some ideas.

The drop in boxes were at one time nonexistent and then came available. But you need to read the dimensions and I can't locate the thread.
Maybe this might be a start.

another member used small plastic wastebaskets(like in a bathroom) as drop in boxes, also i think i remember someone posting some container from tupperware was a close fit.

as far as a door, looks like somebody had put up a canvas one already, thats a good pretty cheap fix. you could build one pretty cheap out of teak or starboard, i think the glass would be the rub.

I was going to say what phatdaddy said, measure it out and look in the stores for trash, Tupperware, dish pans ect....ect... you will find something.
Doors the canvas is a good idea and I see a lot of cruddy's doors on boats made of 1/2 plexi glass, get the smoked color.

Default Drop in boxes

When I needed new ones I checked out a restaurant supply store and they had stainless steel bins used for buffets which fit very well and they'll probably outlast me!
